Our Training Programs
On-leash Obedience Program $995 2-3 weeks
Program Overview:
This program is for both puppies and adults. It includes teaching my above listed Signal words and Commands, house rules and manners, and addressing unwanted behaviors. I will also provide socialization in controlled environments with people, dogs, animals, and exposure to new places and situations. This builds confidence, helps dogs feel more comfortable in new environments, and prevents future behavior problems such as fear or aggression.
In addition, I will get your dog accustomed to handling of body parts, making it easier to wipe dirty paws, cut nails, check ears, etc. This program is for both puppies and adults, and includes on-leash obedience with my standard list of words.
Your dog will be taught how to properly behave in and out of the house—covering crate training, potty training, counter surfing, chewing, leash walking, jumping, and any customized goals you may have.
Most importantly, I will work to develop the full potential of play, both fetch, and tug, which is the backbone of my training system for many different reasons that I will explain!
Off-Leash Freedom and Behavior Rehabilitation Program $1,975 + E-collar for 4+ Weeks
Everything from the 2-3 week package with the addition of any behavior rehabilitation nessasary, and high level, distraction tested off-leash obedience. You and your dog can have the freedom to go hiking, swimming, exploring and many other fun activities without worrying about them running off after something and not coming back when called!
Private Lessons $75 Unlimited Time. Every 4th Lesson Free!
1 on 1 time for me to work with you and your dog to show you how to accomplish your goals. We will work on whatever problems you may have, want to prevent, or obedience you need. It usually goes around 2 hours but, there is no set time limit.
Unlike the board and train where my job to train both the dog and you, the private lessons are much more geared to training you. Because the dog isn’t with me for prolonged amounts of time, you will have to apply the skills and knowledge that I will show and teach you to get the results you want. I will certainly help you as much as possible and I’m always available to chat and answer your questions.
The training includes working to solve problem behaviors at their root cause, customizable house rules, socialization, obedience commands, leash walking skills, structured play for motivation and mental stimulation, and off-leash freedom for dogs enrolled in the 4 week program.
Signal words and commands:
Okay – release and/or reward. The dog is free to do what it wants.
No – tells the dog not to do something.
Commands taught include:
Sit – sit and wait for release word.
Down – lie down and wait for release word.
Come – Recall all the way to you and wait for release.
Place – go to a raised platform and stay.
Out – drop the toy or object.
Wait – do not go through a doorway or invisible barrier.
Stay – remain in the current position.
Heel – walk on the left side.
This way – come toward you or change direction while walking.
After your dog goes home, you are welcome to return with your dog for two additional free follow-up lessons.
